ついにPodcasting対応のiTunesがリリースされてしまった。
iTunes 4.9 では、iTunes ミュージックストアからポッドキャストをブラウズしたり登録したりできるようになりました。ポッドキャストとは、頻繁にアップデートされるラジオ形式の番組のことで、インターネットを介してダウンロードできます。ポッドキャストを iPod に転送すれば、持ち歩いて聴くこともできます。
Podmusikの最大のライバルな訳で、Tiger発売以来ちょっと様子を見てたんですが、ま、機能を補完し合う方向で行こうと思います。
