Reason for Intel Mac
ついにReasonのIntel版がリリースされるらしい（あ、まだベータテストか）。
ちなみに、Universal Binaryではないとのこと。
3.0.4がPowerPC版で今度出る3.0.5がIntel版だとか。
What - No Universal Binary?によると：

We are currently working together with Apple to increase the performance of the PPC version of Reason compiled with XCode.
よーするに、PPC版はこれまでCodeWarriorで作ってたんだけど、Xcodeに持って行ってUniversal Binary化したアプリをPPCで実行すると、現行のPPC版よりもパフォーマンスが出なかったと。プラットフォームによってバイナリが別々に存在するのはPropellerheadとしても不本意だけれど、まずはパフォーマンスを優先したという事でしょうがないよね。ロゼッタで動かすとPPC G3程度のパフォーマンスだったらしいから。
最後に書いてあるけど、PPCでもパフォーマンスが出せるよう、Appleと協力してるとのこと。
